Getting started

Do you still buy collections outright?

No — as of September 2026 Greenway Vault is consignment only. We don't make cash offers; instead we sell your cards for you in front of 100K+ live buyers and in The Vault Store, for a 20% commission and a $1 handling fee per card sold; the marketplace's selling fees are itemized on your statement. Most consignors net far more than any buyout number, and you can watch every card sell in your Vault.

How do you price my collection?

We anchor to recent sold comps — not asking prices — across the major marketplaces plus our own live-show results. From there, variant (1st Edition, Shadowless, holo/reverse, Crystal, Shining, errors), condition, character demand, and real sell-through shape the number.

Notable cards are priced individually; bulk is priced by category. Offers are itemized where practical and always no-obligation.

How should I ship, and who pays for it?

You ship to us at your cost with any tracked carrier once the agreement is signed. Pack cards snug in sleeves / toploaders or team bags inside a sturdy box with fill; slabs in bubble wrap. Prefer to hand them over? Drop-off is by appointment in Scottsdale, Arizona — send us a note through the contact form to schedule.

What if a card isn't what I described?

Every card is checked on arrival. Anything damaged, altered, counterfeit or materially different from your description is set aside and we tell you before it's listed — you choose whether it's returned (at your shipping cost) or listed as-is with the right condition. Nothing is sold under a description you didn't approve.

What's the smallest lot you'll take?

There's no minimum, but the $1 handling fee applies to every card sold, so cards worth under about $3 rarely make sense to consign. Send the cards with real value and keep the shoebox of commons.

What happens to bulk and commons?

We list what makes sense: Near Mint bulk, 1st Edition / Shadowless commons and complete vintage sets can do well on the shows. Plain modern commons usually don't clear the $1 per-card handling fee — we'll tell you before we list them.

Do you consign Japanese, Korean, or other-language cards?

Absolutely. Japanese vintage ($1) sells especially well on our shows. Modern Japanese and other prints too.

Should I grade my cards before selling?

Sometimes. If a raw card looks like a strong PSA 9–10 candidate, grading first can net more — and we'll tell you when that's the case before we list it raw.

How do I know what I'll get?

Your agreement comes with an itemized estimate from sold comps, and the math is simple: sale price × 80% minus $1 per card. A $100 card nets you $79; a $1,000 slab nets $799. Try the calculator.

Consignment

How does consignment work, start to finish?

1) Apply with photos or a list. 2) Agreement — within 48 business hours we send your consignment agreement (20% + $1 per card sold, itemized estimate) and you sign it in your Vault portal. 3) Ship — the intake address appears in your Vault the moment you sign; ship tracked. 4) We sell — every card photographed and cataloged on arrival, then run on our live shows and The Vault Store for up to 60 days. 5) Get paid — full visibility in your Vault, and you're paid weekly with an itemized statement.

What are your consignment rates?

One rate for every card: 20% of the sale price + $1 per card sold. There are no listing, photography, storage or return-to-shelf fees; the marketplace's selling fees on each sale are itemized on your statement, exactly as your agreement spells out. See the rates.

How long until my cards sell and I'm paid?

We actively list your cards for 60 days from the day they're received — most lots finish well inside that. You watch every card in your Vault as it sells, and you're paid weekly: every Wednesday we pay for the cards sold in the Monday–Sunday week that ended at least 10 days before (so cancellations and refunds clear first), each with an itemized statement (card, sale price, commission, fee, your net).

How do I ship my consignment?

Tracked carrier at your cost, cards snug in sleeves / toploaders or team bags inside a sturdy box with fill, slabs in bubble wrap. Drop-off by appointment in Scottsdale — send us a note through the contact form.

What if something doesn't sell?

At the end of the 60-day window you choose: keep it listed for another window, let us re-price or run it at auction without reserve, or have it returned at your shipping cost. Nothing is converted to a buyout — your cards stay yours until they sell.

The Vault Store

Is The Vault Store open?

Yes. The Vault Store is our online shop, pulled straight from intake — the same inventory that runs through our live shows, each card scanned front and back with its condition noted. Raw singles, graded slabs and sealed packs are on the shelves now; bulk lots are coming soon (open that tab in the store to get notified). Checkout runs on Shopify and we ship from Scottsdale, and everything else still sells on our live shows.

Are your cards authenticated?

Slabs are cert-checked, sealed product is seal-verified, and raw cards are condition-noted by our intake team before they're listed or shown.

Will my Vault account work in the store?

Yes. One login covers your requests, consignments, documents, and — when it opens — your store orders and every card you've bought from us.
